We love big birdies!

This is us a couple of weeks ago at the art museum. It was a beautiful day and 68 degrees.

We had a fun day today. We started off by going to our favorite new place to get groceries. This place is open year round and is just a few minutes from Chuck's school. We're able to get tons of fruits and veggies for really cheap. Last week we bought a huge thing of really good olive oil and we use it almost every day. Some things are just not worth skimping on: bed sheets, toilet paper, parachutes and oil.

Then we went to lunch in Kansas City Kansas at the T-Rex cafe. It was a little more realistic than we were expecting and this was Jack's initial reaction.

As soon as his Daddy was able to pick him up he calmed down and absolutely loved the robotic dinosaurs. I felt like I was at Disneyland.

We will definitely be coming back when Jack gets a little older.

Diet Blues

So I'm on a diet which I will not name because I don't want crazy cyber stalker strangers to find this and publish lame comments anonymously. I hate that. Anyway it kinda sucks but I've lost 9 pounds. I've finally decided to lose my post pregnancy weight. I say post pregnancy because I didn't gain weight until after Jack was born. No one warned me about post pregnancy weight gain. Here I thought I was like, super rad for not gaining any weight and then, "bloop." Chubaluba. Well wish me luck as I continue to eat my Tilapia and broccoli. Yuck.

Zit Face!

So right now I have a zit the size of Canada on my chin. It's one of those underground impossible to pop zits that hurts so bad you assume it must be taking over your entire face. I don't remember the last time I had a zit quite like this one. I fell like I'm in high school. I had to vent maybe I'll post a picture of it. Or not.
