Late Night
So, I'm pretty sure I have insomnia. I decided to make Chuck stay up with me. He's out cold on the couch and I'm up blogging and watching the DaVinci Code on TV. At least he's not comfortably snoozing in bed. Is that bad of me to think that way? Anyway, I haven't been able to sleep ever sense Chuck got out of school. I'm a bit stressed out about our upcoming move. We're waiting to find out when we can move in. I'd really like to get us moved before we have to leave for Utah. I'd really like to get in before the end of June also so Chuck can actually spend some time there before he heads off to Alabama for officer training. In other news we had someone sort of make an offer on our house in Logan. And yes, our house is still for sale after a year. We picked a bad year to sell a house. We've picked a couple colors for our walls in the place where we are moving. I hate picking out paint. Hate it, hate it, hate it. I wish I had an interior decorator at my beck and call. I really wish Nate Berkus (sp?) was my friend. Has anyone seen Angels and Demons? I really want to. Can you believe we've lived here almost year and haven't seen a movie here. Speaking of movies... Harry Potter 6!!!! Need I say more. I'd like to say I'm going to sleep but I'm not.

Park pics
The little girl in these pictures was so funny. When she saw Jack she was so excited. She picked him up and took off with him. It made me a little nervous. I was like, "Ah that's my baby you're kidnapping!"
She was pretty cute. Oh, and I know Jack looks like a dork in his too small pajamas.

The Fam comes to town!
Yesterday Chuck's Mom, sis and nephews came into town from Utah. Today we went to Union Station and the WW1 memorial. They are right next to each other and it was pretty fun. Chuck and I hadn't been to either place and we kept wondering why. If you look at the pictures you can see the beginning of what was a pretty cool storm.
On the weekends they light a fire on top of this thing. Crazy!
These clouds were green!!!
I wanted to steal this and go look for tornadoes.
Jack loved these floors. Weird kid.
Oma ha ha ha!!!!

Laundry, Twisters and Mr. Darcy
Okay, so I started my laundry yesterday which means in pops Jane Austen. (a habit I picked up from my mother) Today we're having thunderstorms that feel like earthquakes and we're on tornado watch so I decided I'd continue with the rest of my collection of films. I think every Mormon Mother and possibly every other woman EVER have posted something on their blogs about how hot Mr. Darcy is and how they wish their husbands were that hot. Or they'll say how their husbands are so wonderful just like Mr. D. Well I'm not above any of that. Mr. D is hot. Why? I'm not sure, he's a jerk. Well my husband is no Mr. D. Sorry Chucky, you're not. He's more of a Mr. Bingly. He even kinda looks like him.

Happy Birthday Boys!
I can't believe it has been one year since our little Jack came to us. Jack is pretty lucky to share his birthday with such a great dad. I am very grateful for my little family. I can't imagine life without them I love watching Jack learn new "tricks." Yesterday was their birthday. My mom, my sister Carlie and my little niece Halle were all here. It was fun to watch Jack eat cupcakes, sit in his new big boy car seat and to watch Chuck pick out some new clothes at the store. Halle was a great help opening Jack's presents for him. He seemed pretty disinterested until they actually became toys. I am very proud of Chuck and I for surviving this year. Motherhood was if possible even harder than I expected and I was amazed how much I needed Chuck through this experience. I am just beginning to realize what a great thing we have decided to do by having a family. I have so much respect for all the young, poor students and non-students who decide to have a family. No amount of money or life experiences could replace the joy they have brought to my life. I love you Hun and Little Boy.
