Another Hazel update
Last night the pediatrician called and told us that she talked to the radiologist. The CT scan confirmed that Hazel does have cranio synostosis. The ultrasound showed cranial swelling which is consistent with the diagnosis. As of right now her CT has only been looked at by our pediatrician and a radiologist. A neurosurgeon will review her tests to see if she needs to come in sooner than the 27th. Based on what we've read on the internet, she'll probably need surgery between 2 and 3 months. But who knows for sure. I'm just very grateful that both of my girls health issues are treatable and that they aren't in much, if any pain from their conditions. We have so much to be thankful for. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We feel them everyday.

I am sending the beanies today! Sorry it took so long! Let me know if you need/want anything else. We love you!
I'm so sorry Liz. I was hoping Hazel's problem could be resolved easier. I think Paige might be coming out to visit. :) She's so excited to come, but I just fret. I'd like to say you'll stop worrying about your kids someday, but in my experience, I think not. ;) Mom told me when their blessing was, and I'm going to try to work out a way to come out and be there. Love you! We're still praying for you all.
I continue to pray for your family everyday. Your strength is amazing. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.
You guys are awesome! And these babies are going to be just as amazing! I'm still praying for you. :) I LOVE your insight. Thank you for teaching me to be good.
What an amazing outlook and perspective you have....being grateful that your babies are in minimal pain. I think that seeing my children in pain would be the worst thing as a mother to have to watch. I have no doubts that the Lord has been sending extra angels to watch over your family!!
Eliza, you and your sweet babies are on my mind and in my prayers. I didn't expect to find such a great example of strength and hope in my young niece. I pray that you'll have blessings of comfort and hope and that those sweet girls will feel it too.
Lots of love, Ann
I have just read your blog for the first time and feel so humbled by what you must all be going through and how strong you sound. I wish you and your family all the love and strength in the world to get through this. I have a daughter aged 9 and a son who is just 5 months and just can't imagine..... Take care and well done on finding the time to blog! Xxx
We continue our prayers for your family daily. We know the blessings that come with prayers offered by others. You and Chuck are doing an amazing job or caring for your little girls and their big brother, Jack. The Lord will help you all through this trial and will buoy you up when you are tired. Let Him carry you in those times of need.
Love,
Joyce
I am so glad you finally have something solid to go off of, even if it isn't the best of news :( Your girls have so many people who love them and are praying for them! Things are scary at times, but when you know you have people who love u it helps. I love you and your whole family!! I seriously want to come help!!! Do you think I could help or would I just be more in the way?
